Event Description

Many businesses in this network might be interested in these awards because this is an excellent opportunity to publicize your waste reduction and zero waste activities in Ohio. This will also create more case study/information sharing opportunities for other companies to follow in your lead.

Ohio EPA is seeking applicants who show a commitment to environmental stewardship. Indicators of environmental stewardship include: a commitment to go above and beyond compliance; a mature Environmental Management System (EMS) and integration of the EMS into the core business functions; aggressive environmental performance goals; and a process for communicating with the local community about program activities and progress toward performance goals. Nominations are requested by March 29, 2010.
