Event Description

• 2.6 billion people lack the most basic thing that human dignity requires.
• Four in ten people in the world have no toilet.
• Every 15 seconds a child dies from diarrhea—usually brought on by fecal-contaminated food or water.

On Tuesday, March 23, British writer Rose George’s free public lecture at the Great Lakes Science Center will explore the need to find efficient and environmentally sustainable methods of disposing of human waste.

THIS FREE LECTURE is part of the Great Lakes Science Center’s Water: H2O = Life exhibit and includes free parking and free admission to the exhibit.
