2010 Recycling Container Grant for Nonprofits and Public Agencies
by the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District to help nonprofit and public
agencies in Cuyahoga County start, expand and improve recycling and composting programs
by helping such organizations purchase recycling and composting containers. A total of $20,000 will be available in 2010,
during two grant rounds.
Round 1 grant applications are due February 12, 2010.
Round 2 grant applications are due July 15, 2010.
Apply: Any nonprofit or public agency located within Cuyahoga County may apply for a grant. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis, up to $1000 per organization.
Allowed: Costs to purchase containers to collect recycling or food waste.
