- The Urban Agriculture Program of OSU Extension works to provide the education and resources that help communities grow nutritious food, develop important life skills, and create a healthy environment. We work to continually promote zero waste and composting initiatives in urban agriculture

- The ability to take something that is a problem (refuse) and make it into something useful.

- We promote utilizing compost as a fertilizer in urban agriculture.
