I'm signing up to represent Talan Products, Inc. Our company has set a 2019 Zero Waste to Landfill goal. In the past year we were able to reduce our waste to landfill by 50%. We look forward to tackling the last 50% now.

What attracts you to the concept of zero waste?
I'm a recent graduate of E4S Group 6 and our company is ready to accept the challenge of zero waste.
What is your organization doing to eliminate waste?
We've already begun implementing recycling and reuse programs and we've contacted suppliers about reducing their packaging. We've already seen a 50% reduction in our waste to landfill just by following these first steps.

Bio-degradable stretch film ("shrink wrap")

I'm not sure if this is new to the market or if it's something I happened to stumble on, but the last time I ordered stretch film ("shrink wrap") my supplier brought me in a type that is bio-degradable. We've been using it on our wrapping machine for over a week and haven't had any problems whatsoever with it's perfomance. I just spoke with Gateway Recycling and they said that such sheets are generally recyclable by paper recyclers, as long as there isn't any sticky residue on the back. If you want to contact Antoinette for more info: 216-341-8777.
