What attracts you to the concept of zero waste?

I'm GSA, R5 Recycling Coordinator - would like to reduce waste as much as possible... I'm the type that thinks "if your goal is not Zero waste - how much waste is ok?"

What is your organization doing to eliminate waste?

Educating people on how to best deal with it.

What motivated you to join ZeroWasteNEO.org?

Learn best practices, Network with others, Find ways to save money

What do you need to learn to be able to take action towards Zero Waste?

I would like to learn more about this composting program in NE OH in order to get our Federal Bldgs. on board.

Please describe your organization's waste reduction goals (i.e. zero waste by 2019).

Current goals are 39% diversion. FY10 will be 40% diversion.... We've been increasing our goals 1% each year but do not have any goals in place beyond the 40% at this time. We want to concentrate on getting ALL our buildings to the 40% at this point. Many are over 40% but there are a few stragglers....
