Source Reduction Assistance - $1.3 million
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requests proposals for the Source Reduction Assistance Grant Program, for environmental projects that reduce or eliminate pollution at the source. National areas of interest include projects that encourage greenhouse gas reduction, toxic and hazardous materials reduction, resource conservation, efficient business practices and P2 integration activities. Eligible entities include states, territories, local governments, school districts, non-profit organizations, institutions of higher educations, community organizations, and federally recognized tribes and intertribal consortia. Approximately 30 awards are anticipated. Responses are due 2/4/10.
